Yoshinoya Ueno Station

Nice and clean Station.

Another massive station! Ueno station is what I feel the last station to get on/off a Shinkansen in Tokyo.Ueno station, being that it is in the edge of Tokyo ( I think) is also busy with tons of people getting around. There are many lines that come through here.This is next to a park that has the Ueno zoo and a few museums. My son and I came here and it was busy (again, Obon Festival and Mountain Day was happening).

Well organised and fully automatic railway station

The station is good for those who want to get into Narita Airport late in the evening from Tokyo. The last train of イブニングライナー(Eveningliner) departs from this station at 11:00 pm.

Conveniently located and there are many lines you can take from this station.

Biggest park in Tokyo. It’s beautiful in cherry blossom time and also autumn time. It’s called ueno park nearby ueno station.

This is the former terminal station of some railway lines towards northern area (Tohoku) of mainland (Honshu) in Japan.As it is one of oldest railway stations in Japan, has complex structure both inside and outside of itself.Please be careful not to lose where you are and don't hesitate to ask someone of the way you would like to go.

Living here is very convenient.And many shopping store and food here.

The train station that is the center of Tokyo travel. Is a very large place And there are many routes Can travel out of the city in many directions And there is a Shinkansen train here Above that station there is a large park. Is a famous tourist attraction of this city.

What can I say? It's my favorite station of them all! There are great restaurants and shops for everyone inside and around this station.

Place is massive and full of amenities. It is relatively easy to find your way around, there are signs everywhere. Note that a number of restaurants and other facilities are passed the gates. Also if you travel on a JR pass, keep it handy; we had to show it multiple times.

My favourite station in Tokyo just like the whole area around. Lots of interesting place to explore on your own or with a guide book in your hand.

One of my favorite subway station

Hard Rock Cafe and Hard Rock Store, Garden Supermarket, Starbucks and Ichiran Ramen are here. JR office is here too. If you have JR Pass you need to show them every time you're in and out of the JR station.

The staff were super hilarious when I had an issue with my JR pass, I didn't exactly know what to do and where to go. Because I needed that pass so badly. The lady helped me a lot and it was super funny, I enjoyed it, the conversation was amazing. It brighten up my day and the station itself is good, the funniest thing is, whenever I needed to go back to my hostel, I always take this station. Would love to go back again!

An interesting place as you go around Tokyo each station has a different atmosphere. Ueno Station has its own style it more of a busier station than others and has more the shops that don’t really have name brands.It’s where Ameya-Yokochō is which is a long open air Japanese market. Many tiny shops to enjoy food out and has a more local vibe here.

Ueno Station is located in Taito-ku in the north of central Tokyo and is the main point of access for Ueno Park and its many attractions including Ueno Zoo, Ueno Ameyoko, Tokyo National Museum and the National Museum of Western Art.

Very big and busy station that connects many trains and lines including Shinkansen. You can find many shops inside the station

This one one of the main station with lots of connection. There is a grocery store and bakeries inside. Very good location with lots hotel near by. Therr are alot of shops that sell food.

Great bookstore in Ueno Station because of the location, some books are in English (including Japanese history, culture, tourist info) and their TERRIFIC customer service! Needed to find books in English and was escorted to two different places by dtaff. Found a book for a gift, then spotted a cloth, made-in-Japan book cover. Then, two people at the register took the cover out of the packaging to be sure it fit. Then they put on a free, cute paper book cover on my second book. A lovely experience in the middle of a busy station!

Hey I always have a great time looking around at Ueno station, which is right across from my two favorite places... yamashiroya toys and LOFT inside Marui IOIO dept store (5f). Ueno has tons of nice shops around and inside the station.

Temple and Beautiful Trees ❤

This is a big station and takes a bit of getting used to. To change lives you have to get out and find your way. I struggled with Google. What Google did do well was tell you what is the optimal carriage for your transfer or destination. Make a note of it when you are boarding.

Efficient station, lots of shopping spot, Hard Rock Cafe is hosted here.

One of the main station in Tokyo and even Shinkansen stops this station. Many exits here so better to confirm the exit name before hand. Many shops and restaurant around this station and even inside the station building.
